this is the first time my dog has used a slow feeder bowl, and he's already 10 yrs old. A friend recommended a ceramic one because she knows I cook for him every day, and I figured it would be easier to clean. Since he's an older dog, I wanted to encourage him to interact and play more. We might not need to slow feed him, but I think it's a great toy for him to play with.

I bought 2 different styles of this bowl so I can rotate daily. It is genuinely a great product and very easy to use. So far, I haven't run into any issues. If you feed fresh meals, having two to swap between fridge, microwave, and dishwasher is the best setup!
