The color is adorable and the shape feels very thoughtfully designed. My small dog can still reach the food easily, but it definitely prevents him from eating too fast. Works best with dry food; wet food takes a bit more effort to clean.

Slow feeders need to be rotated periodically, or else dogs will get used to the pattern

Good quality and sturdy material. It worked great for the first week, but once my dog figured out the puzzle, he started eating fast again! It still adds a minute or two to his mealtime, so it’s an improvement, just not a miracle worker.

heavier than I thought

its heavier than I thought but not a bad thing after we used, which it won't move around that often, but the edge need to use a brush to clean it tho

Bought two to rotate

I bought 2 different styles of this bowl so I can rotate daily. It is genuinely a great product and very easy to use. So far, I haven't run into any issues. If you feed fresh meals, having two to swap between fridge, microwave, and dishwasher is the best setup!

vet recommendation

My vet told me to get one, and I love that this doesn't look like an ugly neon plastic toy.
