Bistro Mat & Snood

This set has been useful for my Cavalier, whose ears used to dip into wet food every night. The adjustable toggle made it easier to get a comfortable fit, and the waterproof mat wipes clean after both water and food spills. The nylon and spandex fabric feels flexible rather than stiff. My dog needed a few meals to stop pawing at the snood, so patience and a gradual introduction helped.

The mat is easy to wipe down after meals, which I appreciate because my dog is not a neat eater. The snood took a little practice, but it really helps keep her ears away from wet food. I would say it is especially useful for long-eared breeds.
